Summer 2022 Newsletter

Dear Friends,

I have visited Northern British Columbia a few occasions this year. The last time I flew to Fort St. John, I was sitting next to a First Nations man on the plane and we had a wonderful conversation. He has spent all his life in Dawson Creek and he talked about his city, his family, and the beautiful landscape in Northern BC. Inspired by our conversation, I wanted to learn more about Indigenous peoples and their cultures.

Summer 2022 NewsletterThe poem I included in this newsletter is part of the Tea and Bannock Stories: First Nations Community of Poetic Voices, a publication by Simon Fraser University. The purpose of the Tea and Bannock Stories is to share First Nations poetries about the Planet with others, to encourage community and communication between various peoples, and to celebrate, enjoy, write, read, and make poems and art.

If you are interested in the publication and would like to enjoy more poems and artworks, please follow the link here:

August 18th.

Our start time is 6:00 pm.

Please let me know if you are interested in coming to any of the meditation sessions. My address is 2100 Granite Street in Oak Bay.

Summer 2022 NewsletterI will be launching a new membership service this summer. This is an exciting new service I have been working on the past few months. Subscribing members will be able to enjoy unlimited access to guided meditations and spiritual resources and tools that address the areas of body, mind and spirit. I will send out more information about this membership service in the coming months.

The pictures you see in this newsletter were taken during my last trip to Fort St. John in May at the Fish Creek Community Forest by the Northern Lights College. Beautiful forest and wonderful trails. I feel so fortunate I was able to explore them.

If you have any questions or comments, please let me know.  I am always happy to answer them.

With love,

Anita
